The Communiqué 2007 award for Writing Excellence as voted for by top journalists has just been awarded to the Pharmacy Guide to Bowel Health,
co-authored by Dr Henderson.

Dr Henderson is actively involved with many high-profile non-promotional PR projects on health-related topics and in 2007 became national media adviser to Cohn and Wolfe UK. Some previous projects included authoring a headline report for the At Home Society on the state of relationships in the UK today, and a major report for the T-Mobile Group looking at ‘Billness' – the stress engendered by unexpected bills and financial overstretching.

He also wrote a major media project on ‘Money Sickness Syndrome' for AXA as part of a significant assessment on peoples finances in the UK , looking at why financial stress can be so unhealthy, and is involved in a major campaign to highlight the effects of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) on the country as a whole.

He remains available as a freelance PR health consultant for interested companies.
